Wilkes University invites applicants for a Director of the Honors Program/Assistant Professor in the Office of the Provost. The Honors Program began in the fall of 2015, bringing in the first class of thirty students. There are currently over 100 students in the program with an expected growth of up to two hundred (total students). 

As the Director of the Honors Program, the successful candidate is responsible for managing all aspects of the Honors Program to include: the curriculum, the residential component, common enrichment activities, and development and monitoring student progress relative to established standards. As the Assistant Professor, the individual will have a strong record of academic leadership. This is a 12 month, tenure track position with a half-time teaching component. A doctorate or terminal degree is required with demonstrated experience in program planning. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The expected start date is June 2018.
