Wilkes University invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing.

The School of Nursing is approved by the Pennsylvania (PA) State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The School has traditional Baccalaureate, RN to BS, LPN to BS and a second degree program at the undergraduate level. The Master's programs include both a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Practitioner (CNS or NP in Adult/Gerontology or Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing), Nursing Education, Nurse Executive and RN to MS. The School has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program as well.

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for Principles of Nursing and Pediatric or Family Health. A PA state nurses license and Master's degree in nursing is required; a doctorate is preferred. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in nursing education. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
