Wilkes University invites applicants for adjunct instructor opportunities in the School of Education Undergraduate Program. Wilkes University's Undergraduate Teacher Education Program prepares candidates to be competent, caring, and ethical educators. The Undergraduate Program is offered in a primarily face-to-face format with increasing opportunities for blended and online opportunities. The program includes certifications in PreK-4, 5-Middle Level Programs, 9-Secondary Education Programs, and Special Education.

Adjunct instructors are responsible for instruction of undergraduate level coursework in both face-to-face and online environments and supervising student teachers.  An earned master's degree in education or a related field is required; an earned doctorate in education or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidates will also possess teaching certification and at least five years successful experience in Pk-12 education. Priority areas include: early childhood education, special education, and secondary science and/or math education.
