Wilkes University invites applicants for a psychologist in the Office of Campus Counseling.  The Office of Campus Counseling is a part of the Division of Student Affairs.

The psychologist provides psychological assessment and personal counseling to undergraduate and graduate students at the University.  The position is responsible for the supervision of counseling staff, maintaining accurate and confidential records, overseeing an operational budget, and interacting with staff and faculty related to student mental health concerns.  The psychologist coordinates external referrals when psychological services are beyond the scope of the counseling operation's resources. The position also monitors a 24-hour hotline and responds to issues that arise.  The psychologist coordinates and delivers services through individual appointments and group sessions.  He/she will also coordinate and deliver relevant educational programs to the campus community that are related to mental health issues.  A terminal degree in the field of psychology and/or PA licensure and three years of related experience is required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
