Wilkes University invites applicants for a Web Services Coordinator in the Office of Marketing Communications. This dynamic, award-winning office works to bring greater visibility and recognition to Wilkes University as a leader in higher education. The coordinator reports to the associate director of web services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing day-to-day website updates and maintenance to ensure the Wilkes University website is updated and accurate at all times;
  • Prioritizing and tracking inbound requests appropriately;
  • Supporting ongoing efforts to improve the design and content of the Wilkes University website, including reviewing existing pages and Google Analytics, identifying solutions to improve user experience, redesigning pages based on those solutions, and reorganizing the site flow and architecture;
  • Designing and building email communications using Slate CRM or Emma (or other platforms as necessary) that are visually compelling, and convey accurate information;
  • Maintenance of Wilkes University's new e-commerce website, including adding new products when necessary and training store managers.

A Bachelor's degree in web development, marketing, or computer science is required. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in web development, content management systems, and email creation. This position requires knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management systems. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
